Schaumburg, IL (March 11, 2019) The Prairie Center Arts Foundation will host “Spirits of the Prairie,” on Saturday, April 6, featuring the best in wines, craft beers, locally made spirits and delicious bites from area restaurants. The evening includes live entertainment, raffle prizes and the opportunity to buy and take home your favorite beverages. The event, presented by Schaumburg Bank and Trust, benefits the Prairie Center Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the growth and excellence of cultural arts in Schaumburg.
“We are delighted to announce a new partnership with The Wine Cellar Outlet for our sixth annual tasting event,” said Theresa Olvera, Executive Director of the Prairie Center Arts Foundation. “The Wine Cellar specializes in handcrafted wines from around the world, and will offer a variety of new selections for tasting at Spirits of the Prairie. With additional tastes from local craft breweries, distilleries, and great restaurants, as well as some wonderful raffle prizes and live entertainment, it’s sure to be a fun and festive evening. We are grateful to our title sponsor, Schaumburg Bank & Trust, for their commitment to arts and culture in our community,” Olvera said.
Participating restaurants include: Bonefish Grill, Chandler’s Chophouse, Global Gyros, Oberweis, Seasons 52, and more!
The Prairie Center Arts Foundation supports Prairie Center Youth programs, Theatre Buddies and Arts Partners outreach programs for adults and children in need, and helps to offset costs for the season of entertainment at the Prairie Center.
Tickets for Spirits of the Prairie are $35 per person in advance ($40 at the door) and can be ordered online at PCA Foundation or by calling 847-895-3600. The event starts at 7pm and will be held at the Prairie Center for the Arts, located at 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL.
