SCHAUMBURG, IL – Level 257, NAMCO USA INC.’s flagship dining and entertainment concept, is officially celebrating its grand opening with an exclusive party and fundraiser on Thursday, April 23rd from 6-9pm. The event celebrates the culture of play, which is the inspiration behind the venue and the evening’s festivities.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy:
- Meet & greets and photo opportunities with Chicago sports legends (including 1985 Bears champions Otis Wilson, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Jim Morrissey, and other surprise guests)
- “Beat the Pro” contests where guests challenge the professionals in a variety of games including bowling, air hockey and select video games
- A silent auction featuring valuable items, including PAC-MAN™ collectables and signed sports memorabilia donated by Sportsnation Enterprises, Inc.
In addition, guests will experience unlimited game play, a selection of passed plates throughout the evening, two Bacardi cocktails, a DJ, trivia competitions, and much more. Media personality David Kaplan and former Chicago Cubs and White Sox player Steve Trout will take the lead as emcees for the evening.
Level 257 firmly believes that “To Play Is Human” – whether one’s definition of play includes classic indoor sports like bowling and table tennis, video game play, or simply socializing over food and drinks. For one special evening, Level 257 Grand Opening guests will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play with some of the best athletes in sports history. Participants who “Beat the Pro” will receive a Certificate of Achievement signed by the athlete and a Level 257 Gift Card. Guests must arrive prior to 7pm to be eligible to partake.
A silent auction will also be on display, featuring incredible sports and gaming memorabilia, unique play-focused experiences, and exclusive PAC-MAN™ collectables. Items up for bid include a golf outing for four and autographed memorabilia from legendary athletes such as Mike Ditka, Walter Payton, Peyton Manning, Mike Singletary and Joakim Noah. All proceeds will benefit the Otis Wilson Charitable Association, which provides an all-inclusive health and fitness program for at-risk youth to educate and empower them to lead healthy lifestyles.
