Take a Sweet Tour with Charlie, Willy and the Oompa Loompas at America’s Baking & Sweets Show, Schaumburg, IL

This delicious and inspiring event returns to the Schaumburg Convention Center (1551 N. Thoreau Dr., Schaumburg, IL 60173) from November 13-15, 2015 with the theme of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

With several inspiring themed zones, special guests, demonstrations and hands-on classes, America’s Baking and Sweets Show offers an array of things to explore, discover and buy for Thanksgiving, the holiday season, weddings, birthdays, dinner parties, intimate dinners or just to satisfy a sweet-tooth. With The Family Zone presented by T-Fal AirBake, GoodCook™ and Sweet Creations, children develop and share their passion for baking, while the American Talent Showcase competitions highlight this same ardor for both master chefs and passionate bakers. Since its inception in 2013, America’s Baking and Sweets Show has supported undiscovered American talent and continues to bring some of the best and most skilled bakers in the country under one roof.

GHPrimeMedia_Sweets_206Celebrity guests on The Domino Sugar and Bosch Main Stage include the Ace of Cakes Duff Goldman; Brian Emmett, winner of CBS’s The American Baking Competition; Heather Saffer, a winner on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars; as well as from Sally’s Baking Addiction, Sally Quinn. Visitors to America’s Baking and Sweets Show can expect to see the most delectable and hottest trends as well as products from exhibitors in a range of categories including baking, sweets and confectionary, coffee and tea, liqueurs, and kitchenware . Back by popular demand is the Baking Academy, created for people with a passion for baking, who are looking for inspiration. One-hour demonstrations are available as well as two-and-a-half hour hands-on classes.

America’s Baking and Sweets Show, now in its third year, is North America’s first and largest show dedicated to everything baked and sweet. All Grand Prizing is courtesy of Bosch Appliances and Novak & Parker. Other Sponsors include Smallcakes A Cupcakery, Paasche Airbrush, Dollop Gourmet, Bakery Charms and RumChata.

Show hours are Friday, November 13 – 10am-6pm; Saturday, November 14 – 10am to 6pm; and Sunday, November 14 – 10am to 5pm. Admission: One day – $15 adult, $10 senior (65+) and student (13-17); $10 for Military Personnel. Friday show special: $6 for students and teachers with valid identification; three-day pass – $30.
