Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Announces Joint Partnership Commitment to the community “Fill Our Trailer”

SCHAUMBURG, November 23, 2009 – Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament announced the ”Fill our Trailer” initiative. Due to the overwhelming need at the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry we are joining partnerships with other caring companies and conducting a food drive at the castle. On December 12th and 13th, North America’s most popular dinner attraction is hosting its first local food drive. With the support of Sylvan Learning Centers, Pepsi, 3E Marketing Communications, Chicago Progressive Talk Radio, Val Pak, Sun Lake Productions, Via Media and Suburban. All of our guests attending the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and they donate 5 items of non-perishable or toiletries, as a thank you, will receive a return ticket to the castle along with some other coupons and discounts.

When the community is in need it is imperative we join together and help each other. Signage Radio TV, Flyers mailers, has all been incorporated to make this a successful campaign. Sylvan Learning Center has passed out information at all of their Suburban locations and will help decorate the horse trailer and banner from Suburban Accents. Chicago Progressive Talk Radio (WCPT), Via Media and Sun Lake Production will assist with Public Service Announcements, 3 E Marketing and Communication along with Suburban Accents will provide signage and flyers. Val Pak has mailed this information out in their local envelope. Pepsi will be delivering product directly to the Schaumburg pantry. Sylvan Learning Centers will offer a special discount for all guests during this weekend and Medieval Times will present everyone with a letter to return as their guests during a specific period of time.

All the non- perishable items and toiletries will be delivered by His Majesty’s Royal Court from Medieval Times.  For information on how to contact the organizers of this cause please contact Marla Hart Marketing Manager at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, 847-310-1513 or Lynda Aguirre, Sylvan Center Director 847-301-2700.
