Schaumburg, IL (May 17, 2017) – Meet Chicago Northwest is excited to announce they have been named the Best Convention & Visitors Bureau in Chicagoland by the readers of Illinois Meetings and Events magazine. Each year, the magazine asks its readership to vote for the best venues, hotels, conference centers, attractions and convention and visitors bureaus in the meetings and events industry in Illinois. “The annual Best of Illinois awards are designed to honor the cream of the crop in the regional meetings and events industry. The awards are a celebration of the hard work and above-and-beyond service of suppliers who help planners be at the top of their game.” according to the Illinois Meetings and Events website (il.meetingsmags.com).
On Thursday, May 11, 2017, Meet Chicago Northwest was honored with the award of Best Convention & Visitors Bureau in Chicagoland during the Best of Illinois 2016 event at Rock Bottom Brewery in Chicago. They were thrilled to have the Executive Director of the Illinois Office of Tourism, Cory Jobe, present the award to them.
