Meet Chicago Northwest Sponsors Inaugural MPI Chairman’s Challenge

5K Fun Run and Walk Open to Public
Saturday, April 18, 2015 – Westin Chicago Northwest

Schaumburg, IL – Meet Chicago Northwest, the official destination marketing organization for Chicago’s northwest region, welcomes Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Chicago Area Chapter (CAC) as they present the inaugural Chairman’s Challenge 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Westin Chicago Northwest, 400 Park W Blvd., Itasca, IL.

The Chairman’s Challenge supports the MPI Foundation Education Endowment, promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and brings attention to the meetings industry that pumps millions of dollars into the local Chicago Northwest economy annually.

Registration, which is open to the general public and all age groups, can be done online at  or onsite the day of the event starting at 7:30 a.m. The registration fee is $25.

Race start time is 8:30 a.m. Networking, snacks and beverages, and other activities will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Families are encouraged to participate. Children will have the opportunity to get their photo taken with a Medieval Knight from Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament.  Goodie Bags will be provided to all runners and walkers.

The event is sponsored by Meet Chicago Northwest, the Westin Chicago Northwest, Tourism Vancouver, and the Personal Trainer Network.
