There’s no shortage of culinary options in Chicago Northwest—especially along Schaumburg’s Restaurant Row. Home to dozens of irresistible eateries, it offers delectable menus year-round. But from February 23 through March 4, 2018, the Chicago Northwest culinary scene becomes a full production. Taste the finest fare from top-rated chefs during the fifth annual Restaurant Week.
This year’s lineup of 40 restaurants includes:
Sam & Harry’s
Morton’s The Steakhouse
Chicago Prime Steakhouse
Chicago Prime Italian
Depending on which prix fixe menu you opt for, lunches are $10, $15 or $20, and three-course dinners are $20, $30 or $50 per person. Pleasing to the palate and the pocketbook!
Try something new
With easy access to a wide range of craft food, there’s no better time to explore new options. Celebrated chefs and restaurateurs present their most innovative combinations during Restaurant Week, so you’re sure to experience some new innovative flavors. Think possibilities such as spicy edamame followed by crying tiger shrimp tacos, and palate-cleansing toasted coconut pineapple ice cream from Tokio Pub.
This year, several microbreweries and wineries have also joined the celebration for the first time—a perfect pairing for a night out.
Bring the kids
Restaurant Week isn’t just for adults. Plenty of the participating restaurants are kid-friendly, and it’s an ideal opportunity to get young ones to branch out and try something new. For example, a meal from Chicago Prime Italian that starts with warm, flavorful spinach artichoke dip, followed by pasta fagioli soup, and chicken breast cacciatore is sure to please the littlest to the biggest appetites.
